Born and raised in Thunder Bay, Ontario, Heather Davey has always possessed a deep passion for art and creativity. Her journey as an artist has been uniquely shaped by her life with retinitis pigmentosa, a condition that has rendered her legally blind since childhood, offering her a distinct and captivating perspective of the world.

As a self-taught artist, Heather  explores various mediums,  transitioning between her captivating black ink portraits of beloved pets and her striking works that emphasize landscapes and realism. In her landscape pieces, Heather captures a misty and often enigmatic ambiance, evoking a profound sense of tranquility. Her love for birch trees is evident in her artwork, as they are a recurring motif that adds an essential touch of beauty to every landscape she creates.
